1948 Bentley Mark VI Celebrates Seventy Years of Motoring

First registered on 16th February 1948 with registration number DVH 314 our Bentley Mark VI was built in Crewe at the factory converted from building Merlin fighter aircraft during the war and assembled by Ripon Brothers Limited St John’s Road, Huddersfield, Yorkshire the renowned coach builder.

The Bentley is powered by a 4.25 litre straight six Rolls Royce engine with manual gearbox.  The body looks elegant in two tone black and fawn paintwork and the interior transports you back to a previous era with opulent leather seats and extravagant slabs of walnut make up the dashboard with beautiful touches such as the art-deco interior lighting smack of standards still firmly in the realm of high luxury.

The Bentley has proven to be a very popular bridal car while being in the ownership of Lothian Classic Wedding Cars and we look forward to this continuing for many years to come.
